Papa John's to expand network

Papa John's, the US-based pizza outlet, has planned to expand its India network by opening nearly 100 outlets within the next four years.

Addressing the media at the launch of the company’s fourth store in the country at Powai, Mumbai, Myles Felt, Papa John's vice president, in a statement said: "Presently, the Indian fast-food market is growing by 15 to 20 per cent. I expect it to grow even faster at 25 to 40 per cent in the coming years. Our expansions will help us earn more."

According to the company, it will invest around $62.5 million (Rs 250 crore) for its expansion plans in India.
